Crisis Extended Observation Unit
The Extended Observation Unit at EHN is a multi-bed facility that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Here individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis are immediately seen by mental health professionals and observed for up to 48 hours until stable. This unit is designed to divert these persons from an emergency department utilization and jails to a place where they can receive proper mental health care.

Central Outpatient MH Services
The Central Outpatient Clinic is one of four adult mental health clinics in the EHN network of service locations. This clinic also has a pharmacy located across the street at our 1600 Montana location for added convenience for the clinic consumers.

The Westside Clinic is an Integrated Primary Care clinic. Its staff includes a team of primary care and behavioral health providers who work together to establish the coordination of mental health, substance abuse, and primary care services under one roof.

Intellectual/Developmental Disability (IDD) Clinic
EHN offers services to clients with different levels of intellectual/developmental disabilities including dual diagnosis, Down Syndrome and autism. Our goal is to help foster the consumer’s development and skills and help them live as independently as possible.

Justice Involved/Jail Diversion Programs
EHN has several mental health programs to assist individuals involved in the judicial system starting from when a person is booked into a county detention facility to when they are placed on probation or parole. The goal is to stabilize their mental health in and out of the jail, to prevent further criminal activity.

EHN offers several different programs to help individuals dealing with a Substance Use Disorder which include Adult Substance Use Treatment, Office-Based Opioid Treatment and Supported Employment Services.

EHN is dedicated to helping El Paso residents who are dealing with substance abuse problems and offers a wide array of services to assist with long-term recovery. The OSAR program offers free outreach, screenings, assessments, and referrals to individuals 13-years-old and older.

Mental Health Residential Home – Siesta Gardens
Through a partnership with the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso, EHN provides onsite counseling and rehabilitation care to assist chronically homeless disabled individuals who are residents of the Siesta Gardens Mental Health Residential Home in northeast El Paso.

Alternatives at EHN
Alternatives Center began operating in El Paso in 1995 and is now part of EHN’s system of care and called Alternatives at Emergence Health Network. The programs at Alternatives are offered to adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and other problems that impact their work, family or daily functioning. This includes family violence, substance abuse, parenting challenges and anger issues. Many of the treatment programs at Alternatives satisfy court mandated attendance.
