Texas received 1115 Waiver funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in December 2011. Texas healthcare organizations seized the opportunity to build healthcare system capacity and innovative projects in the areas of behavioral health, primary care and emergency services. Emergence Health Network received a total of $36,430,631.70 from the 1115 waiver since 2012 and has implemented the following programs for the El Paso community:
